1. Stone Bands These are some of the soil and water conservation interventions which GG-SPI is implementing together with communities . These structures are constructed in high areas like hills with a reason to controls speed of water from which most of the time causes floods to the communities downstream and destroys lives , properties and farms. these structures are constructed only in identified hotspots and helps to reduce the impacts of climate change. this has been so due to the bare forest which doesn’t have trees which used to control the speed of water.

2. Check dams

These are the structures that are Global Green and Sustainable Power Initiatives (GG-SPI) is also gully reclamation structures which prevent gully formation by stopping small and big water channels from deepening into gullies, it improves agricultural productivity by storing water and controlling of soil erosion ,reduced water velocity and protect downstream areas from damage. GG-SPI famers are also adopting these interventions which there able to apply in their fields.
